Born in the suburbs of Chicago in April of 1984, Sean soon found himself relocated to the warmer weather of southern California. There, some of his earliest projects were still motion Star Wars action figure movies, all of which have yet to receive an Oscar nod. Later, he started working on early Apple systems, where he began learning Photoshop and modifying early 3d video games. In High School, Sean was lucky enough to have access to the local television station of Mission Viejo, which happened to be based out of the local High School at the time.

It only made sense that after years of tinkering with studio broadcast equipment, motion graphics for the schools video news magazine, and way too many hours of editing, Sean attended Loyola Marymount University for a BA in Film Production.

At Loyola, Sean quickly found himself at home in the basement of the Film building doing TV engineering work, and just as quickly found himself working as a Systems Administration assistant and working as a teaching assistant for both Post Production Visual Effects and Advanced Editing.

Immediately after graduation, Sean found a job at Lola Visual Effects, where his first project was 3d tracking, generating snow for, and compositing over 70 shots for Night at the Museum as a Flame Artist. Following that, Sean has worked on many major films such as Jumper (Apartment and underwater sequence compositing), Blade Runner (Restoration and new composites), Speed Racer (Age reduction sequences for flashbacks) and the vein sequences in Iron Man, which is being featured in the July 2008 issue of Cinefex.

Sean lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Retno, and many plants, which can’t seem to stay alive.
